The DAISLIDE has solid lubricants sealed around the circumference to eliminate the need for any external lubrication. Being self-lubricating, the slide is ideal for applications where external oiling or greasing is not possible due to environmental or structural restrictions. Use of solid lubricant aslo permits design of low-friction sliding parts.

The slide maintains excellent wear resistance during high-load, low-speed operation involving frequent reciprocal, intermittent, or shaking motion, which would otherwise prevent an adequate oil from forming.
